Fire bucket stand for 2, 4 or 6 buckets

A fire bucket stand keeps your fire buckets together, off the ground and in one visible place, so anyone can grab sand or water the moment a small fire or spill starts. Loose buckets get moved, borrowed for cleaning or kicked over. A fixed stand keeps them where your fire plan says they should be. The FireSpray stand is a sturdy frame for covered areas, made in three sizes: for 2, 4 or 6 buckets. Select a size above to see its price (plus GST).

Which size: 2, 4 or 6 buckets?

Size Good for
2 buckets Small workshops, single store rooms, a covered DG set
4 buckets Factory sheds, godowns, covered loading bays
6 buckets Larger plants, covered fuel areas, warehouses with several risks

For a big site, it is usually better to place several smaller stands near each risk than one large stand far away from them.

Standard stand or stand with canopy?

Location Best choice
Indoors or under a roof This standard stand
Open yard, petrol pump or construction site Bucket stand with canopy, so rain and dust stay out of the buckets

Where to use it

  • Factory sheds and workshops
  • Godowns and warehouses
  • Covered fuel and DG set areas
  • Covered parking and loading bays

Sand in the buckets is a simple first response for small fires and for soaking up oil and fuel spills. Water works only on small fires in wood, paper and cloth, and must never be used on electrical or oil fires. The red fire bucket is also sold on its own.

Setting up the stand

  1. Place it on firm, level floor close to the risk, on a route people already use.
  2. Keep it clear of exits and walkways so it never blocks an escape route.
  3. Fill the buckets with dry, loose sand, or clean water for areas with only wood, paper or cloth.
  4. Keep an extinguisher next to it. A 6 kg ABC fire extinguisher suits most sheds and godowns, and a foam fire extinguisher suits fuel areas.

Monthly check

Once a month, check that the frame is upright with no rust or bent parts, every bucket is in its place, the sand is dry and loose, and nothing has been stacked in front of the stand. Replace any bucket that is dented, holed or missing.

Buying for a factory or several sites

Every stand comes with a GST invoice and pan-India delivery. Freight is charged by delivery location. We dispatch within 7 days and replace anything that arrives damaged or has a manufacturing fault within 10 days of delivery. For 10 or more units, ask for a bulk quote. Buckets do not replace extinguishers, so see the fire extinguisher price list and our fire safety equipment guide as well. Browse every bucket and fire bucket stand in the fire bucket range.

All questions
Can a fire bucket stand be used outdoors?

It is made for covered areas. Outdoors, rain and dust spoil the sand, so choose the stand with canopy instead.

Which size bucket stand does a small workshop need?

A 2-bucket stand is usually enough for a small workshop or store room. Factory sheds and fuel areas often need 4 or 6 buckets, or several stands near each risk.

Where should a bucket stand be placed?

On firm, level floor close to the risk, on a route people already use, and never where it blocks an exit or walkway.

Do I still need fire extinguishers if I have bucket stands?

Yes. Sand buckets are a first response for small fires and spills. Keep an ABC or foam extinguisher next to every stand.

What do you fill a fire bucket with?

Dry sand for oil and fuel spills, or water for Class A fires such as wood, paper and cloth.

Why buy a fire bucket stand with canopy?

The canopy keeps rain and dust out, so the sand or water stays ready to use.
